American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine, by examination in 1985.
Dr. Bartlett was an Epidemic Intelligence Service officer with the CDC before coming to MSU in 1981. He teaches epidemiology and public health to veterinary students, MPH students and MS in Food Safety students. His principle research areas have been bovine mastitis, antimicrobial resistance, food safety and controlling bovine leukemia virus in cattle populations.
Dr. Bartlett is married with two sons. His hobbies include backyard chickens, monitoring his solar panels and golf.
